The Resource Center Supervisor oversees the programs and services of 360 Communities Burnsville and Rosemount Resource Centers. They supervise staff that focus on delivering both short- and long-term support for families and individuals. They develop and maintain community partnerships to collaboratively provide holistic services at 360 Communities Resource Centers and are responsible for overseeing the administration of the Family Housing Prevention Assistance Program (FHPAP).
A few of their responsibilities include:
Identify un-met community needs, new service delivery strategies and community challenges.
Ensure data is collected and accurate records are maintained for statistical, evaluation and funding purposes, including but not limited to FHPAP/Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data reporting.
Attend meetings with Dakota County related to Emergency Cash Assistance (ECA) and Family Housing and Prevention Assistance Program (FHPAP) and the Affordable Housing Coalition.
Work with the Community Resources Manager to identify, establish and maintain community partnerships that assist in carrying out the vision and services of the Resource Centers.
Ensure appropriate service delivery and coordination by staff in response to the 360 Communities intake and connection to internal and/or external resources.
Communicate and partner with other 360 Communities supervisors and coordinators (Food Shelf, VPI Services, Partners for Success, etc.) to build cross program collaboration.
Work with the Community Resources Manager to implement resource center events/programs: Jump Start to School, Armful of Love, Financial Empowerment, Legal Kiosks, etc.
Ensure compliance with professional standards in areas of ethics, confidentiality and boundaries. Uphold 360 Communities safety and security procedures. Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Participate in the planning and facilitation of volunteer meetings as needed and appropriate.
Demonstrate commitment to work with diverse populations. Support staff in continuing to learn and grow in their cultural competency. Build equitable services and access.
Supervisory duties and responsibilities include:
Supervise the Resource Center Family Support Workers, including providing regular one on one supervision time to ensure appropriate service delivery.
Responsible for directing, motivating, developing, evaluating and reviewing staff performance.
Managing staff, preparing work schedules, and assigning projects and duties.
Monitoring and controlling resources used by staff.
Interview and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes
Hours: Exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Includes daytime hours, but may require some occasional evening and weekend hours.
Location: 360 Communities Resource Centers; Rosemount and Burnsville
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of related experience required and 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
Experience working with a collaborative and constructive peer group.
Experience hiring, recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility and performance.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and use of database systems.
High level of emotional capacity.

Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver’s License, acceptable personal auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
