Project Summary | The Department of Community Engagement seeks an intern to assist a collaborative effort with the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center (PWCC) to grow the documentation and community understanding of the history of Camp Katharine Parsons. The project entails identifying a research topic, gathering primary and secondary sources and finishing a complete narrative summary of their research and findings. Opportunities may also include conducting oral history interviews and preparing transcripts. The intern will be expected to be comfortable with engaging with community members connected to the camp for guidance, support, and source finding. |
