We are excited to announce the new role of Director of Partnerships at Black Men Teach. This role will play a critical role in helping Black Men Teach build and facilitate a network of community members, organizations, and institutions seeking to create a collective impact within the community. This leader will direct our network in the advancement of equity through learning together, aligning, and integrating our actions to achieve population and systems-level change. A successful candidate will have strong facilitation experience, project management skills, and the ability to influence others. This position will work closely with and report to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
Network Facilitation and Project Management
Oversee the facilitation, coordination, and project management of the network
Facilitation of the network through providing logistical leadership, communication, and other support
Project manage the network, ensuring the common agenda of the network and subsequent tasks are completed in a timely manner; hold network accountable
Coordinate, facilitate, and project manage work among across the team to achieve annual plan milestones and common agenda performance measures
Build relationships with the network to facilitate a collaborative community and solve interpersonal dynamics
Communicate progress, misses, and lessons to the network in an efficient and timely manner
Work with Executive Director on annual workplan and budget to move the common agenda forward
Management & Organizational Leadership
Model the core values and a culture that encourages community engagement, equity and inclusion, trust, learning, and accountability
Participate on Senior Leadership Team and provide overall input and counsel to organizational strategy and goals
Represent Black Men Teach at external meetings and education functions to promote Black Men Teach
What You Bring

Qualified candidates will possess:
Alignment with Black Men Teach values and mission
5+ years of professional experience in an education setting, nonprofit, or for-profit service organization
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Demonstrated success in group facilitation and/or coalition building with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in project management
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders and build long-term relationships
Ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside Black Men Teach
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to provide high-quality customer service to internal and external partners
Prior experience with Collective Impact is desired but not required

COMPENSATION
The annual salary range for this role will be $80k-95k commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, Black Men Teach offers benefits including:
Reimbursement for a portion of your health care insurance premium
401k plan with company match
Paid time off (PTO) which will accrue at the rate of 15 days per year
