The Distribution Project Specialist works in conjunction with sales professionals, APM leaders, station partners and production teams to support the department’s goals of growing audience and revenue through the distribution and selling of public radio programs and associated products/services for our affiliate stations’ radio and digital platforms. We also seek and secure strategic partnerships, work with content partners to shape the content, and develop new business opportunities. Our content partners include APM Studios, Classical 24, Marketplace, BBC World Service, The New York Times, and WBUR.
Compensation Range: $48,462 – $72,693/yr. Exact salary determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure and internal equity.

Position Responsibility:
Oversee the division’s business financial processes – annual planning, monthly forecasting, system entry, tracking, analysis, expense processing, resolving discrepancies, and general budget reporting
Manage confidential contractual finances and budgeting information — requisitions, purchase orders, travel expenses, resolving discrepancies, and regular reporting
Work with the Station Relations Reps to create, track and secure annual client contracts and fees
Maintain and ensure adherence to shared calendars, documents and accountability trackers across departments throughout the division
Set and lead project organization and progress meetings for Distribution events (such as annual conferences, station events, etc.) and program launches/sunsets
Support and create clear and efficient communication channels for sharing of project and department information
Serve as internal resource for department software—coordinate training, troubleshoot issues, and develop protocols, efficiencies, best practices
Identify potential roadblocks and work with key stakeholders to preemptively find solutions
Identify project freelancers and/or external vendors when necessary

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
One year of financial management experience– expense processing, tracking, reporting, working with budgets, audits, and financial compliance practices
