JOB SUMMARY: The English Teacher at PCYC will create a positive learning environment that facilitates the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. As an Alternative High School in North Minneapolis, we serve inner-city Minneapolis young people who often face significant barriers in life as they strive toward full growth and active citizenship. Teachers work closely with parents, the administration, other staff, other PCYC programs, and the Minneapolis Public Schools, under moderate supervision.

WAGES AND BENEFITS: $46,000 – $57,000 annual salary depending upon experience; medical insurance, dental and vision insurance; employer contributions to a Health Savings Account; participation in the agency-sponsored retirement plan; employer-paid life insurance; long-term disability insurance; paid school break time and additional personal days.
