About this Event
When a state is lauded for being the most charitable while also having some of the worst inequities in the country, clearly something isn’t adding up. In the Twin Cities, one in five residents live in poverty. At the Constellation Fund, we don’t like that math.
With our partners, donors, and grantees, Constellation works to shift the philanthropic mindset from feel-good charity to strategic investment by using the best available evidence and community insights to identify and invest in poverty-fighting programs that deliver the highest impact. Because we believe that smart philanthropy is kind philanthropy.
Join us on Tuesday, December 1, for a behind-the-scenes look at the metrics and rigorous evaluations that guide our investments, and to hear from two organizational leaders whose poverty-fighting programs are strengthening our community.
Panelists to include:
• Dr. Art Rolnick, Adjunct Professor – Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota
• Carolyn Smallwood, CEO – Way to Grow
• Otis Zanders, President and CEO – Ujamaa Place
The Constellation Fund presents: Impact Forum: Strength in Numbers, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 11:00 AM-12:00PM
