When it comes to trash—and preventing it—good communication is key. Confusion leads to more garbage, but standardized recycling labels are the best way to encourage people to throw away less and recycle more.

Enter Recycle Across America, the first company to dream up and create a national standardized labeling system in the U.S. The group—led by Mitch Hedlund—just landed a new partner, Bank of America. Not only will RAA’s labels start popping up on trash and recycling bins at bank locations across the country, but Bank of America also donated standardized labels to schools. Thanks to the partnership, it just got a whole lot easier for more employees and students to recycle right and recycle more.
