We are currently growing as a firm and are looking to expand our team of trainers and organizational change agents.POSITION DESCRIPTIONAs a Racial Equity Co-Trainer, you are responsible for working with our team to guide clients through HCG’s Seven Phases of organizational change work with an emphasis on the equity team development, training, and implementation aspects of HCG’s framework. Specific to the training process, HCG has developed a tested and effective structure that requires co-trainers to possess both the ability to deliver an established curricula and the capacity to collaboratively develop training elements specific to the needs of the client. The terms of employment are a minimum of 2-3 contracts per year for at least 2 years (but possibly longer). Each contract is approximately 50-55 hours of work over several months. Your role with HCG is as an independent sub-contractor and is bound by our agreements with our clients such as NDAs, IP agreements, and the like.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver HCG’s well-established 27- hour racial equity training curriculum (over the course of 2-3 months – 3 full days if in person, or nine 3-hour sessions if on Zoom)
Provide additional thought leadership in the design, planning, and implementation of each client contract
Participate in 4-6 Equity Team meetings with clients during the scope of contract and provide coaching and guidance to the ET (per contract)
Identify, develop, and cultivate strategies to build equitable and inclusive organizations, meeting the needs and goals of our clients through the HCG model of racial equity work.
The scope of each sub-contractor co-training contract includes, but is not limited to, the following [time frames are approximate]:
Assessment (moderate) [1 hour]
Formation and development of the client’s Equity Team [7 hours]
Training and facilitation of HCG’s 5-Module Racial Equity Lens training [36 hours for both planning and delivery]
Planning and strategizing organizational change needs [3 hours]
Co-facilitate implementation meetings after the training phase of a contract [~5 hours]
Respond to any urgent and emerging equity and social justice needs and priorities of our clients [TBD, but on average 3-5 hours]
Meet regularly with HCG team members for planning, strategizing, and administrative/logistical work [TBD, but on average 3-5 hours]
Participate in HCG’s “train the trainer” process in preparation to deliver the training to clients
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge and understanding of racial equity, race, racism, and whiteness, and social justice issues in a U.S. context
Advanced teaching and training skills; ability to motivate, teach, inspire, and collaborate with a range of participants
Strong understanding and ability to apply racial equity knowledge to organizational change
Substantive professional experience leading or contributing to racial equity and social justice initiatives and programming
Demonstrated commitment to advancing racial equity and social justice for BIPOC communities
Strong communication skills; written, verbal, non-verbal
Visionary and highly collaborative leadership skills
Excellent relationship development skills, strong political acumen, collaborative working style
Experience working in historically, majority white institutions and organizations
Personal support structure to sustain this kind of work
Must be willing to commit to 2-3 contracts annually for next 2 years (possibility for more)
Interest in deep and long-term relationship building and skill development with a commitment to helping HCG grow

COMPENSATIONUp to $16,750 per contract (before taxes), with potential for additional contract work.
