Come Sing! a BIPOC+ Mixed Race centered healing

Do your body and spirit crave rest? Do you need some space to feel all your feels and get grounded? Our ancestors were up to something vital as they sat around the fire and sang together every night, and we want to invite you to join in that communal songline tradition.

This is a long-held dream that’s finally come to life…we’ve noticed that most spaces for community singing are, well, super white, and we’ve been hungry for a BIPOC + Mixed Race centered singing space: please join us for this Healing song circle series!

It’s free, every other Tuesday night at 7.30 pm!

Tuesday, August 30, at Western Sculpture Park. September 13 and 27th will be at Springboard for the Arts’ new space at 262 University Ave in St. Paul on their front lawn.

And if there’s interest, we’d love to keep it rolling after that….

You don’t need to “be a singer!” We teach everything call and response, oral tradition, so as long as you’re willing to take a deep breath and echo back, you’re good!

NB: White bodies are also welcome but we’re centering this for healing and grounding for BIPOC and Mixed Folx.
