How do you invest in human connection?

We bring people together through the arts and through political and economic engagement. We are similar to Pollen in the sense that we also invest in our community. We believe that diversity of ideas and culture is a recipe for growth and unity.

What responsibilities do you feel as a business leader in your community and why?

As a business leader, I think it’s important to show intention and integrity. To whom much is given, much is required. That’s what I was taught growing up. It’s the duty of business leaders to do just that. We are required to lead.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Do you have a favorite mantra or quote to keep you going and inspired?

“I don’t hustle for my first name, I hustle for my last name” — Dame Dash
