It’s official; the 2020 Walk to End HIV is happening on October 10th! For over three decades, we have come together to walk, remember, advocate for, and inspire one another at the annual Walk to End HIV (previously the Minnesota AIDS Walk). This year might look a little different than previous Walks, but it’s more important than ever to come together as a community as we take steps to finally end HIV in Minnesota.
Building on nearly four decades of leading the fight against HIV and AIDS, JustUs Health continues the work of our legacy organizations, Minnesota AIDS Project and Rainbow Health Initiative. JustUs Health remains on the front lines in the fight to end HIV by serving more Minnesotans living with HIV than any other organization.
Each year, the Walk to End HIV raises financial support for services that help people living with HIV including housing, transportation, assistance with health insurance, and legal services. Approximately 2,500 Minnesotans living with HIV are not connected to the care they need—JustUs Health is committed to closing that gap, and we hope that one day this walk won’t be needed.
