Werk It — Not your typical nonprofit gala

Client: Impact Hub
Project: Experiential Event Design
Deliverables: A 400 Person Celebration Event
Capabilities: Branding, Engagement, Event Programming, Design

A nonprofit wants to host its annual event and wants it to excite, inspire, and connect! Sound familiar? When Impact Hub came to Pollen and Events by Lady K with this charge, we knew it had to be different. Why not go beyond the tired breakout-session conference or gala affair and instead throw a true party?

And thus Werk It: Showcasing That Hustle was born.

a creative format

Solution #1: A runway show celebrating Minneapolis’ social entrepreneurial ecosystem brought 400+ attendees out for a night of celebration, solidarity, and action.

Solution #2: Instead of models, Pollen’s engagement prowess recruited 30 social entrepreneurs to walk the runway.

Solution #3: Pollen’s eye for design ensured custom branding and art direction across all aspects of the event. Photo Shoots. Styling. Logos. Branding. Experiential Set Design. Digital Visuals. Print Materials. Community engagement embedded throughout.

Danielle Steer, Impact Hub MSP:

“The team at Pollen delivered above and beyond as a creative partner, designing a FOMO-worthy event experience and elevating the unique voices of our community with amazing storytelling.”
